Two years later, in 1966, Dot moved again with her family a few roads away to Tonfield Road, where she and Laura could fight over a bedroom each. Dot and Laura enjoyed getting dressed up and going to their tap dancing lessons where they both entered competitions and won medals. Dot loved musicals and she and her sister would often put the record player on and re-enact the musicals in their front room, especially Oliver and The Sound of Music. Their cousins would come to visit and loved playing in the basement.
