During their early years, Dot focused her daytime hours on her children. Paul recalls his earliest and fondest memories of just the two of them, sitting on the sofa in front of the TV cuddling while eating penny sweets. To this very day, he can still feel how safe, cuddly and warm that made him feel, a feeling he will continue to cherish each time he thinks of his Mum.
